  • eggs
  • minced meat, fish, seasoned crumbs, creamed vegetables, or other leftovers
  • cream, milk, or water (if needed)
  • breadcrumbs
  • grated cheese
  • minced parsley

Method

  1. 1 Butter ramekins or custard cups.
  2. 2 Fill cups halfway with minced meat, fish, seasoned crumbs, creamed vegetables, or other leftovers. If too dry, moisten with cream, milk, or water.
  3. 3 Drop an egg into each cup. Sprinkle with crumbs, dot with butter, and add grated cheese and minced parsley if desired.
  4. 4 Place in a hot oven (425°F) until the egg is set.
