Baked Creamed Salmon With Breadcrumbs

- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 cups milk or cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- 1 can flaked salmon

Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and cook briefly. Gradually whisk in milk or cream and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
- 2 Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and minced parsley. Stir in the flaked salmon and reheat gently.
- 3 Transfer to a baking dish. Layer with breadcrumbs and dots of butter, ensuring the top is covered with crumbs and butter.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until the top is golden brown and the dish is heated through.
