Baked Creamed Corned Beef Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pt. milk
- 1 slice onion
- 1 stalk celery
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup flour
- dash paprika
- 1 pt. cooked corned beef, cut into cubes
- ½ cup cracker crumbs
- 3 tbsp melted butter
Method
- 1 Scald milk with onion slice and celery stalk.
- 2 Stir in butter and flour creamed together; cook 15 minutes until thickened.
- 3 Add paprika, strain sauce over cubed corned beef.
- 4 Place in pudding dish; top with cracker crumbs mixed with melted butter.
- 5 Bake in moderate oven (350°F) to reheat and brown crumbs.
