Baked Crab Cheese Toast
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups minced cooked crab meat
- 1 cup white stock
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 1 tablespoon grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Buttered toast for serving
- Additional grated cheese for topping
Method
- 1 Combine minced crab meat, white stock, sherry, 1 tablespoon grated cheese, salt, and pepper in a saucepan.
- 2 Cook the mixture for 10 minutes over medium heat.
- 3 Pour the hot crab mixture over buttered toast on a baking sheet.
- 4 Sprinkle generously with additional grated cheese.
- 5 Bake in a very hot oven (425°F) until the cheese melts and bubbles, then serve immediately.
