  • finely chopped cooked ham
  • breadcrumbs
  • butter for dotting
  • sufficient stock to moisten

Method

  1. 1 Butter a baking pan. Add a layer of seasoned crab meat to the bottom.
  2. 2 Add a layer of finely chopped cooked ham, then a layer of breadcrumbs.
  3. 3 Dot with butter and repeat layers until the dish is full, ending with crumbs and butter on top.
  4. 4 Add sufficient stock to moisten the dish.
  5. 5 Bake for 30 minutes in a moderate oven (350°F).
