Baked Cornmeal And Meat Casserole
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/3 cup chopped peppers
- 2 cups cooked meat
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Method
- 1 Mix cornmeal with one-half cup of cold water to form a smooth paste.
- 2 Boil the remaining three cups of water, then slowly stir in the cornmeal mixture.
- 3 Boil for five minutes, then stir in the salt, chopped peppers, cooked meat, and cayenne.
- 4 Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for one hour.
