Baked Cornflake Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- 5-6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup cornflake cereal crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Method
- 1 Remove skin and bone from thighs; cut meat into bite-sized pieces.
- 2 Place cornflakes in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- 3 Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to the crumbs. Close bag tightly and shake to blend.
- 4 Add chicken pieces to the bag in batches and shake to coat evenly.
- 5 Preheat oven to 400°F. Place nuggets on a greased baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
- 6 Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
