  • 3/4 lb grated coconut, brown skin removed
  • 1/2 lb sugar
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 6 egg whites, beaten
  • 1/2 pint cream
  • 1 glass brandy or rosewater
  • 1/4 lb crackers, pounded fine

Method

  2. 2 Combine the beaten egg whites with the grated coconut, sugar, butter, cream, brandy (or rosewater), and pounded crackers.
  3. 3 Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
