Baked Clam Oysters With Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

  • 2 dozen clams
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp grated onion
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • few drops Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. 1 Chop fine two dozen clams, removing the hard parts.
  2. 2 Mix clams with 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 tsp grated onion, 1 tsp parsley, and 3 tbsp melted butter.
  3. 3 Season highly with salt and pepper, and add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce.
  4. 4 Put mixture into buttered clam-shells, cover with crumbs, and dot with butter.
  5. 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until brown.
