Baked Clam Oysters With Bread Crumbs
Ingredients
- 2 dozen clams
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp grated onion
- 1 tsp parsley
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- few drops Worcestershire sauce
Method
- 1 Chop fine two dozen clams, removing the hard parts.
- 2 Mix clams with 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 tsp grated onion, 1 tsp parsley, and 3 tbsp melted butter.
- 3 Season highly with salt and pepper, and add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce.
- 4 Put mixture into buttered clam-shells, cover with crumbs, and dot with butter.
- 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until brown.
