Baked Citron Custard Puddings

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fine flour
  • 2 oz granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 oz citron, chopped

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease four tea cups or ramekins.
  2. 2 Whisk egg yolks, sugar, flour, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. 3 Stir in cream and chopped citron until fully combined.
  4. 4 Pour mixture into prepared cups and bake for 20 minutes until set.
