Baked Choux Pastry Puffs
Ingredients
- 1/2 pint water
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 5 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Method
- 1 Boil water and butter together in a saucepan.
- 2 Stir in flour while boiling, then remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
- 3 Gradually stir in beaten eggs and baking soda until smooth.
- 4 Drop batter into pans, filling them halfway.
- 5 Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
