Baked Chocolate Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 quart milk
- Pinch of salt
- 3 squares Baker's Chocolate
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 eggs
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
Method
- 1 Heat milk, salt, and chocolate in a double boiler until chocolate melts.
- 2 Mix flour with a little cold milk, then stir into the hot milk mixture.
- 3 Cook for 10 minutes, then pour over condensed milk, eggs, and sugar.
- 4 Cook for 4 more minutes while stirring, then strain and cool.
- 5 Stir in vanilla and freeze according to your ice cream maker's instructions.
