Baked Cheese Bread Pudding With Separated Eggs
Ingredients
- 1 pint milk
- 1 thick slice stale bread
- 8 oz cheese, grated
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Boil the stale bread in the milk until soft.
- 2 Stir in the grated cheese until melted.
- 3 Beat the egg yolks and whites separately, then combine with salt and pepper.
- 4 Mix the egg mixture into the cheese and bread until smooth.
- 5 Pour into a buttered dish and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
