Baked Butterfish With Tomatoes And Onions

Ingredients

  • butterfish, cleaned and washed
  • flour, for rolling
  • hot fat, for frying
  • 1 cup stewed tomatoes
  • 4 onions, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp thyme

Method

  1. 1 Cleanse, wash, and drain the fish. Lightly roll in flour.
  2. 2 Brown the fish quickly in hot fat.
  3. 3 Place fish in a baking dish. Top with stewed tomatoes, chopped onions, salt, paprika, and thyme.
  4. 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 20 minutes. Serve directly from the dish.
