Baked Butter Pretzel Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 pound flour
- 1 package baking powder
- 200 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 4 to 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 egg, beaten (for wash)
Method
- 1 Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add sugar and butter, then combine.
- 2 Add 2 eggs and 4 to 6 tablespoons of milk. Knead into a fine dough.
- 3 Roll small portions into thin strips and shape into pretzels.
- 4 Brush with beaten egg and place on a buttered baking sheet.
- 5 Bake in a hot oven until golden brown. Store in tins to keep crisp.
