Baked Bread And Apple Pudding
Ingredients
- bread slices, buttered
- apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- sugar
- spice
- water
- cream or Hard Sauce (for serving)
Method
- 1 Butter a pudding dish. Layer thin slices of buttered bread and sliced apples inside.
- 2 Season the apples with sugar and spice between layers.
- 3 Add enough water to moisten the contents, then cover the dish.
- 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) for two hours.
- 5 Serve hot or cold with cream or Hard Sauce.
