Baked Bass With Olive And Parsley Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp tomato catsup
  • minced parsley
  • minced onion
  • minced olives or pickles
  • lemon juice
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • cold water
  • 1 whole bass

Method

  1. 1 Combine bread crumbs, butter, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, parsley, onion, olives, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. 2 Add enough cold water to moisten the mixture and stir to combine.
  3. 3 Stuff the fish cavity with the mixture and sew the opening shut.
  4. 4 Bake the fish in a moderate oven (350°F) until cooked through.
  5. 5 Serve the baked bass with Tartar Sauce.
