Baked Bacon And Oyster Skewers
Ingredients
- bacon, thinly sliced
- oysters, shucked and dried
- potato or turnip, small knob
- flour, for dusting
- chili sauce, for serving
Method
- 1 Cut bacon into pieces the size of an oyster. Wash oysters, remove shell bits, and pat dry.
- 2 Thread bacon and oysters alternately onto skewers, starting and ending with bacon. Secure ends with a small knob of potato or turnip.
- 3 Dust skewers thoroughly with flour. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 10 minutes.
- 4 Serve immediately with chili sauce.
