Baked Artichokes Stuffed With Bacon And Herbs
Ingredients
- artichokes
- cooked bacon, grated
- 1/2 cup fine herbs
- 1 cup broth
- lemon slices
Method
- 1 Trim artichoke tops and leaves. Boil bottoms in salted water until tender, then scoop out fibrous interior.
- 2 Grate cooked bacon into a saucepan with fine herbs and broth. Cook for five minutes.
- 3 Place a spoonful of the mixture inside each artichoke. Cover the opening with a lemon slice.
- 4 Bake in a sauté pan in a moderate oven (350°F) for twenty minutes.
