Baked Artichokes Stuffed With Bacon And Herbs

  • artichokes
  • cooked bacon, grated
  • 1/2 cup fine herbs
  • 1 cup broth
  • lemon slices

Method

  1. 1 Trim artichoke tops and leaves. Boil bottoms in salted water until tender, then scoop out fibrous interior.
  2. 2 Grate cooked bacon into a saucepan with fine herbs and broth. Cook for five minutes.
  3. 3 Place a spoonful of the mixture inside each artichoke. Cover the opening with a lemon slice.
  4. 4 Bake in a sauté pan in a moderate oven (350°F) for twenty minutes.
