Baked Apples With Sago Pudding
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons sago
- 1 pint water
- Sugar to taste
- 4-6 apples, peeled and cored
- Cream for serving
Method
- 1 Soak sago in water overnight.
- 2 Cook sago in a double boiler until transparent, adding water if needed and sugar to taste.
- 3 Place peeled and cored apples in a baking dish.
- 4 Pour the cooked sago over the apples.
- 5 Cover and bake until apples are tender.
- 6 Cool and serve with sugar and cream.
