  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 5 egg yolks
  • Sugar to taste
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Sugar for glazing

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Peel and core the apples carefully, keeping them whole.
  2. 2 Place the apples in a baking dish.
  3. 3 Mix the cooked rice, cream, egg yolks, sugar, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. 4 Pour the rice mixture over the apples in the dish.
