Baked Apple Dumplings With Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Apples, cored
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Shortcrust pastry
Method
- 1 Core the apples and fill the holes with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- 2 Roll out shortcrust pastry and wrap each apple in a piece of the dough.
- 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 30-40 minutes, or boil in rapidly boiling water for the same time.
- 4 Serve hot with cream or sweet white sauce.
