  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Shortcrust pastry

Method

  1. 1 Core the apples and fill the holes with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  2. 2 Roll out shortcrust pastry and wrap each apple in a piece of the dough.
  3. 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 30-40 minutes, or boil in rapidly boiling water for the same time.
  4. 4 Serve hot with cream or sweet white sauce.
