Baked Apple Cornmeal Cake

  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 3 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

Method

  1. 1 Mix cornmeal, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar in a bowl.
  2. 2 Dissolve baking soda in milk, then stir into the dry ingredients.
