Baked Almond Ratafia Custards
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb almond paste
- 1/4 lb butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp sifted sugar
- 2 tbsp cream or milk
- Ratafia flavoring
Method
- 1 Make the ground almonds into a paste with a spoonful of water.
- 2 Warm the butter and mix it with the almond paste.
- 3 Add the sugar, cream or milk, and well-beaten eggs; mix thoroughly.
- 4 Butter small cups, half-fill them with the mixture, and bake for 20 minutes.
- 5 Turn out onto a dish and serve with sweet sauce.
