Baked Acorn Squash With Orange And Spices

Ingredients

  • 1 acorn squash
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • nutmeg

Method

  1. 1 Microwave whole squash for 1 1/2 minutes on high to soften.
  2. 2 Cut squash in half, remove seeds and fibers, and place cut-side up on an ungreased baking pan.
  3. 3 Pour 2 tablespoons orange juice into each half and spread evenly.
  4. 4 Bake at 400°F for 30 to 45 minutes until tender.
  5. 5 Season with cinnamon and nutmeg, then serve.
