Baked Acorn Squash With Orange And Spices
Ingredients
- 1 acorn squash
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- nutmeg
Method
- 1 Microwave whole squash for 1 1/2 minutes on high to soften.
- 2 Cut squash in half, remove seeds and fibers, and place cut-side up on an ungreased baking pan.
- 3 Pour 2 tablespoons orange juice into each half and spread evenly.
- 4 Bake at 400°F for 30 to 45 minutes until tender.
- 5 Season with cinnamon and nutmeg, then serve.
