Bacon Wrapped Oysters On Toast
Ingredients
- 6 oysters
- 6 slices bacon
- 6 rounds toast or fried bread
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toothpicks
Method
- 1 Cut bacon into thin strips. Season oysters with salt and pepper.
- 2 Wrap each oyster in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- 3 Place each wrapped oyster on a round of toast or fried bread.
- 4 Cook in a moderate oven (350°F) for about 5 minutes.
- 5 Serve very hot, sprinkled with additional pepper.
