Bacon Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted shortening
- 1 cup milk
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- ½ cup bits crisp bacon
Method
- 1 Sift flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together twice.
- 2 Add beaten egg and milk to the dry ingredients.
- 3 Stir in melted shortening and crisp bacon bits.
- 4 Bake in a 425°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
