  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted shortening
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup bits crisp bacon

Method

  1. 1 Sift flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together twice.
  2. 2 Add beaten egg and milk to the dry ingredients.
  3. 3 Stir in melted shortening and crisp bacon bits.
