Bacon Mayonnaise Broiled Oysters
Ingredients
- oysters, opened in shell
- mayonnaise, highly seasoned
- fine bread crumbs
- finely chopped bacon
- lemon, for garnish
Method
- 1 Remove oysters from shells, wash, and inspect for shell fragments.
- 2 Roll oysters in seasoned mayonnaise, then coat in bread crumbs.
- 3 Return oysters to shells and sprinkle with finely chopped bacon.
- 4 Broil or bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 8 minutes.
- 5 Serve in the shell with a garnish of lemon.
