Bacon Fat Giblet Gravy
Ingredients
- Giblets, minced
- 2 tbsp bacon fat
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 quart water
Method
- 1 Mince the giblets finely.
- 2 Brown the giblets in bacon fat, then stir in flour and brown well.
- 3 Add water and cook slowly for 1.5 hours while the fowl roasts.
- 4 Rub the mixture through a sieve, return to heat, and bring to a boil before serving.
