Bacon Corn And Potato Chowder
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 tbsp onion, minced
- 1 tbsp celery, minced
- 1 tbsp pepper, minced
- 2 cups corn
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 tomatoes, cut up
- 2 pints milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Dice bacon and brown in a pan. Add onion, celery, and pepper; fry until bacon is crisp.
- 2 Add corn and sauté together for 3 minutes.
- 3 Add potatoes, tomatoes, and seasoning. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- 4 Add milk, heat to boiling point, and serve with chopped parsley.
