Bacon And Onion Rye Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups onions, minced
- 4 ounces bacon, parboiled, minced, and diced
- Rye bread slices
- Butter
Method
- 1 Mince the onions finely and parboil them until tender, then mince again.
- 2 Dice the parboiled bacon and toss it in a hot pan.
- 3 Add the onions to the pan and toss until nicely browned and tender.
- 4 Spread the bacon and onion mixture between slices of buttered rye bread.
