Bacon And Kidney Beans
Ingredients
- 2 cups kidney beans
- ¼ pound bacon
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Wash and soak 2 cups kidney beans in cold water overnight. Drain and cover with boiling water.
- 2 Add ¼ pound bacon to the beans and boil until the beans are tender. Drain the mixture.
- 3 Season the beans with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4 Brown thin slices of bacon in a frying pan and serve over the beans.
