Asparagus On Toast With Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- asparagus spears
- salt
- water
- toast
- butter
- lemon juice
Method
- 1 Scrape and clean asparagus, then tie into bundles of five or six stalks with even heads.
- 2 Cook rapidly in boiling salted water until tender.
- 3 Drain and serve on toast with melted butter mixed with a little lemon juice.
