  • Fresh or canned asparagus
  • Green or red peppers
  • Lettuce leaves
  • French dressing
  • Philadelphia cream cheese

Method

  1. 1 Cook fresh asparagus in the usual way and allow to cool. If using canned asparagus, ensure it is very tender.
  2. 2 Cut green or red peppers into rings.
  3. 3 Place four asparagus stalks inside each pepper ring to form bundles.
  4. 4 Arrange the bundles on lettuce leaves.
  5. 5 Serve with French dressing and a small pat of Philadelphia cream cheese on the edge of each plate.
