Argentinian Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup flat-leaf parsley, lightly packed and chopped without stalks
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons green onion, minced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- water
Method
- 1 Place all ingredients except water in a blender or food processor.
- 2 Pulse until well chopped but not pureed, adding water if needed for consistency.
- 3 Spoon over grilled meats, poultry, seafood, or vegetables, or use as a marinade.
