Apple Pistachio Crisp
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apples (such as Honeycrisp, cored and cut into 1" chunks, unpeeled)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted pistachios, chopped
- margarine or butter, melted
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Place rack in center.
- 2 Place sliced apples, raisins, and lemon juice in an 8" x 8" pan; toss to combine.
- 3 In a bowl, mix oats, flour, cinnamon, brown sugar, and pistachios.
- 4 Add melted margarine or butter to dry ingredients and mix until consistent.
- 5 Sprinkle topping over apple mixture. Bake uncovered 45-50 minutes until apples are tender.
