Apple Onion And Egg Pie
Ingredients
- 6 oz apples
- 1/4 lb Spanish onions
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shortcrust pastry
Method
- 1 Peel and chop the apples and onions. Stew gently with a little water until nearly tender.
- 2 Season with salt and pepper, then stir in the butter.
- 3 Turn the mixture into a small pie dish. Quarter the hard-boiled egg and place pieces on top.
- 4 Cover with shortcrust pastry and bake for 30 minutes.
