Apple Crisp With Oat Crumble
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup apples (medium, sliced)
- 1/4 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cinnamon
- margarine
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a square pan.
- 2 Core and slice apples; spread them in the bottom of the prepared pan.
- 3 Cut margarine into small pieces and place in a medium bowl.
- 4 Add oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon to the margarine.
- 5 Cut the margarine into the dry ingredients using two knives until the mixture resembles small crumbs.
- 6 Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples. Bake for 20 minutes.
