Apple Celery Walnut Salad In Apple Cups
Ingredients
- Apples, peeled and cubed
- English walnuts, blanched and broken into pieces
- Celery, sliced thin
- Oil
- Lemon juice
- Mayonnaise dressing
- Red apples (for serving cups)
Method
- 1 Peel and cube the apples. Blanch the walnuts and break them into pieces. Slice the celery thinly.
- 2 Marinate the apples and walnuts in oil and lemon juice for 30 minutes. Drain the mixture.
- 3 Add the sliced celery and mayonnaise dressing to the drained mixture. Toss to combine.
- 4 Hollow out red apples to create cups. Carve the edges in a decorative pattern. Keep filled in cold water until serving.
