Apple Batter Pudding
Ingredients
- Apples (enough for a pie dish)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Cream, for serving
Method
- 1 Stew apples in a pie dish until soft.
- 2 Whisk together egg, sugar, butter, milk, flour, and baking powder to form a batter.
- 3 Pour the batter over the stewed apples.
- 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) for 45 minutes.
- 5 Serve warm with cream.
