Anchovy Pepper And Onion Salad
Ingredients
- 6 anchovies, skinned and boned
- 1 Spanish onion, sliced very thin
- 2 sweet Spanish peppers, shredded
- 1 slice bread, cut into dice
- French dressing
Method
- 1 Skin and bone the anchovies, then chop them very finely.
- 2 Combine the chopped anchovies with the thinly sliced onion, shredded peppers, and diced bread.
- 3 Toss the mixture with French dressing to coat evenly.
- 4 Serve the salad on a bed of lettuce or cress, adding extra bread dice if desired.
