Anchovy Egg Salad Tea Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 4 hard-boiled egg yolks
- 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- dash of paprika
- 1 tbsp anchovy paste or 2 mashed anchovies
- thin slices of buttered bread
Method
- 1 Mash the hard-boiled egg yolks with melted butter or olive oil.
- 2 Stir in salt, paprika, and anchovy paste or mashed anchovies until combined.
- 3 Spread the mixture between thin slices of buttered bread.
- 4 Press slices together, trim crusts, and cut into triangles.
