Almond Rusk Layer Cake
Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup dried rusk, grated
- 1 cup almonds, grated

- 6 egg whites
Method
- 1 Beat egg yolks well and mix in powdered sugar.
- 2 Combine grated rusk, grated almonds, and baking powder; stir into the yolk mixture.
- 3 Fold in well-beaten egg whites to create three distinct layers.
- 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) until set.
