Almond Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 6 eggs
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- Almond extract or flavoring of choice
Method
- 1 Beat the eggs together until very light, then add the sugar and beat again.
- 2 Sift the flour and baking powder together.
- 3 Beat the butter to a cream, then stir in the flour mixture.
- 4 Add the egg and sugar mixture along with your chosen flavoring and mix well.
