Almond Paste Macaroons
Ingredients
- 1 lb almond paste
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 8 egg whites
Method
- 1 Mix almond paste and powdered sugar until fine.
- 2 Gradually add egg whites, mixing until smooth and soft enough to pipe.
- 3 Pipe onto paper using a round tube or teaspoon.
- 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) until done.
