Almond Orange Potato Flour Cakes
Ingredients
- 2 oz almonds
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp castor sugar
- orange juice
- 2 oz sugar
- 1 egg
- pinch of salt
- 1.5 oz potato flour
- 1 oz melted butter
Method
- 1 Pound two ounces of almonds.
- 2 Mix almonds with two egg yolks and one tablespoon of castor sugar flavored with orange juice.
- 3 In a separate bowl, mix two ounces of sugar with one egg.
- 4 Add the almond mixture to the sugar mixture along with a pinch of salt.
- 5 Gradually stir in one and a half ounces of potato flour until well mixed.
- 6 Fold in one ounce of melted butter.
- 7 Shape the mixture into cakes.
- 8 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) until set.
