Almond Cream With Wine And Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups thick almond milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp fine beaten sugar
- 1 tbsp sack, muscadine, or white wine
- 2 red biscuits, crushed
Method
- 1 Boil the almond milk briefly, then remove from heat.
- 2 Stir in salt and vinegar, then strain through a clean cloth hung over a bowl to drain.
- 3 Transfer the drained almond cream to a serving dish.
- 4 Mix in sugar and wine, then sprinkle with crushed red biscuits before serving.
