Almond Cream With Wine And Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups thick almond milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp fine beaten sugar
  • 1 tbsp sack, muscadine, or white wine
  • 2 red biscuits, crushed

Method

  1. 1 Boil the almond milk briefly, then remove from heat.
  2. 2 Stir in salt and vinegar, then strain through a clean cloth hung over a bowl to drain.
  3. 3 Transfer the drained almond cream to a serving dish.
  4. 4 Mix in sugar and wine, then sprinkle with crushed red biscuits before serving.
