Almond Cream With Egg Whites
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz almonds
- 2 egg whites
- sugar to taste
Method
- 1 Blanch and finely grind the almonds.
- 2 Combine ground almonds with cream in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 3 Sweeten to taste and stir in beaten egg whites.
- 4 Heat gently until the mixture thickens, then serve.
