Almond Cream Tart With Sherry
Ingredients
- 4 oz sweet almonds
- 0.25 oz bitter almonds
- 4 oz butter
- 4 oz loaf sugar
- 1 pint cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sherry
- puff pastry
Method
- 1 Beat sweet almonds, bitter almonds, butter, and sugar together in a mortar until smooth.
- 2 Add cream, eggs, and sherry to the almond mixture and stir to combine.
- 3 Line a dish with puff pastry and pour in the filling.
- 4 Bake for 30 minutes until set and golden.
