Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • ½ cup lump sugar, pounded and sifted
  • ½ cup flour

Method

  1. 1 Beat 8 eggs, reserving half the whites, for 30 minutes.
  2. 2 Gradually add the sifted sugar while beating.
  3. 3 Mix in the flour by degrees.
  4. 4 Pour into a buttered tin and bake immediately.
