8 Egg Sponge Cake
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- ½ cup lump sugar, pounded and sifted
- ½ cup flour
Method
- 1 Beat 8 eggs, reserving half the whites, for 30 minutes.
- 2 Gradually add the sifted sugar while beating.
- 3 Mix in the flour by degrees.
- 4 Pour into a buttered tin and bake immediately.
